Each of these installations is an important part of the whole and contributes a fully operational site. Artificial lighting for workplaces
The lighting engineering calculations in the Electrical part of the project determine the optimum type, number and locations of the lighting fixtures on the site. They shall be installed according to the current standard for artificial lighting ensuring an efficient and healthy working environment closely linked to the layout of workstations.
Power supply of office equipment
Each workstation with a computer needs a corresponding power supply, usually with a group of three to five electrical outlets. The project solution provides for optimal distribution of current circuits in the electrical panels, necessary protective equipment, and the identification of appropriate routes for wiring. The overall configuration also depends on the decision regarding backup power supply.
Uninterruptible power supply systems
For electrical outlets serving computer equipment, a backup power supply is almost always provided to protect against data loss, unused operating time, and damage due to power surges.
The optimal scheme configuration for the site is planned with a central UPS or local UPSs, and if necessary in combination with a diesel generator. The parameters of these devices, the appropriate distribution in the electrical panels and the separation in the panels of reserved and unreserved equipment is also determined.

A complete bill of quantities in the technical design phase with all types of supplies and civil works is an important element for obtaining complete offers from contractors, as well as for preparing a correct budget during construction.
