Electrical installations are the source of power for the workplaces and the systems that serve them. They ‘bring to life’ the necessary office and commercial equipment and devices, creating a healthy and efficient working environment for employees and customers. Some of the electrical installations we offer:
- Building interior office lighting for work desks, office spaces, conference rooms, etc.
- Building a stylish electrical installation for computer and office equipment.
- Construction of central and on-site power backup systems – UPS systems and diesel generator for responsible consumers.
- Fabrication, supply, installation and coupling of electrical switchboards and power cables to ensure continuous power supply.
- Construction of emergency systems for the safety of visitors and employees – fire alarm and emergency notification.
In addition to our electrical installation proposal, we offer adjacent services through our trusted subcontractors:
• Construction of a transformer substation and external site networks 1kV and 20kV.
• Supply, setup and installation of computer network and internet equipment, TV and satellite systems.
• BMS-systems for smart control of heating and ventilation to achieve significant reduction of electricity costs on site.
• Smart lighting and office equipment management systems for maximum employee comfort, complete site energy efficiency and a high class feel to your facility.
• Rooftop photovoltaic installation to reduce electricity costs and provide for a sustainable solution.
Why choose us:
Over three decades of electrical installation experience, our knowledge of electrical installation work in investment projects has been enriched by a wide variety of technical case studies. We urge you to take advantage of our invaluable experience for your investment.
Having a design team for so long contributes to a high level of competence in electrical installation due to excellent knowledge of current standards and regulations.
It is important to us to provide the client with a well-crafted and functional electrical installation for many years to come.
Some solutions for electrical installations for office, administrative and commercial buildings:
A variety of electrical installations with specific applications are built to ensure the appropriate functioning of workplaces and customer areas by creating efficient and healthy working conditions. Each installation is an important part of a complex network and contributes to the operation of the site. In addition to optimal and economically viable solutions for each of the electrical installations, the latter must meet modern standards and requirements relating primarily to personnel safety, accident and fire prevention, rapid depreciation of electrical installations and equipment, and protection of sensitive electronic equipment. The technical solutions are provided in the design section of the electrical part. Some of our experience in electrical installations for for office, administrative and commercial facilities are:
Artificial lighting for workplaces
Working on a computer for hours at a time requires critical judgment about the choice of artificial lighting. Its parameters are calculated by the site design engineer. It is important to match the locations of the lighting fixtures to the layout of the workstations so that none fall in dark areas. The selection of a specific type of lights is made during the construction of the site and predetermines the electricity consumption of the system, as well as the maintenance costs for replacing defective fixtures.
Power supply of office equipment
Each workstation with a computer needs its own power supply, which is provided by a group of three to five electrical outlets. Usually 2-3 sockets are provided for office equipment and 1-2 sockets for general needs in different colours. The socket distribution on current circuits and wiring routes shall be done according to the electrical design. In modern buildings, to achieve a discreetness from an aesthetic point of view, sockets are increasingly installed in floor boxes or incorporated into the office furniture itself.
Uninterruptible power supply systems
Provide automatic switchover to backup power for computer equipment in the event of a power failure. Usually implemented with a system of UPSs – one central or multiple local ones, sometimes in combination with a diesel generator. The circuit configuration and parameters are determined by the electrical design engineer. Higher class UPS devices protect computer equipment from damage due to power surges that are often accompanied by power outages.
Electrical switchboards for office and commercial buildings
Electrical switchboards distribute electricity to the relevant equipment – lighting fixtures, electrical outlets, HVAC and plumbing equipment, as well as to subpanels. They protect the electrical cables from overloading, fires, electric shocks, and also ensure operator safety. The circuit solutions and parameters of are determined by the electrical design engineer of the site. Modern electrical panels are stylish and discrete.
In-house power substations for office and commercial buildings
Larger sites are provided with a in-house substation, sometimes built into the building itself. The type, parameters and location of the substation are defined in the electrical design. It consists of a 20kV switchgear to which the external 20kV supply cables are connected, one or more power transformers, and a low-voltage electrical panel (LVP) which also serves as the central electrical switchboard for the site. If the substation is built into the building, it shall be prepared in a non-standard design and specific fire protection requirements shall be followed.
Fire alarm and emergency notification
The safety of people and the minimisation of damage to production in the event of a fire is ensured by two separate systems – one detects the occurrence of a fire and the other gives voice instructions for evacuation. All individual rooms on the site are equipped with fire detectors, loudspeakers for the emergency announcements, devices needed for interlocks in the individual electrical panels, etc. The two systems have separate control panels that communicate with each other. The parameters of the control panels, the type and location of the devices are determined by the designer and are his responsibility.
Low-current installations
In modern office, administrative and commercial buildings with low-current installations a wide variety of types of systems and devices are available – computer networks, telephones, television, video surveillance, access control, etc. They can vary widely in price according to the parameters being sought. The technical design of the Electrical part provides only a basic solution for the mandatory ones. Subsequently, prior to construction, the investor needs to decide which of these are to be built and what their exact parameters are.
Earthing and lightning protection systems
These systems protect office equipment and servers from damage from power surges and are vital to the operation of the equipment in electrical switchboards. The systems are tailored to the site and their parameters and configuration are defined in the electrical design phase. Earthing systems shall be constructed with earthing conductors, loops and leads to them and, if necessary, arresters shall be installed in the electrical switchboards , which are also part of this system. Their role is to absorb the peak voltages occurring in the network.
