Fire alarm systems can be used in almost all types of investment projects. For some of them they are even mandatory. These are hotels, larger office buildings, public event buildings, manufacturing plants, etc. The exact parameters of the investment project, in which the implementation of this type of systems is mandatory, is described in the regulations, as well as in the building stock requirements of some brands. In general, they are not applied in residential construction, except in high-rise buildings. Some example solutions we offer for such systems are:
Fire alarm and emergency warning project
Prior to construction, the technical solutions need to be defined in an investment project, where the locations of the fire detectors, the sirens for emergency signalling, the locations and parameters of the emergency announcement loudspeakers, all necessary interlocks and triggering of additional emergency equipment need to be defined, the routes of the necessary cabling need to be drawn and the parameters of the plants need to be defined.
Hotel complex 4 stars
These systems are compulsory for most hotels – required both by regulation and by the various hotel chains. They are built according to the project. In the individual hotel rooms, corridors, service areas, etc., the corresponding detectors – manual and automatic, sirens, loudspeakers are provided, and at the reception, where there is a permanent human presence, their control panels are installed.
The public address system can be combined with the background sound in the common areas.
High office building
They are built in the same way as the hotel complex – according to the project, with the installation of the appropriate devices in the individual rooms. The fire alarm control panel activates the pressure ventilation system in the stairwells, which protects the evacuating people from suffocation, opens the ventilation louvres of the atriums, sends a signal to the automatic evacuation doors, etc. All this is provided for in the project according to the assignment of the fire safety designer.
Multifunctional sports hall
Fire alarm and emergency notification systems are designed and built. The type and location of fire detectors shall take into account the great height of the room and the high background noise in the room and its geometry when determining the emergency call points. The general ventilation shall be blocked and the emergency exhaust ventilation shall be activated, a signal shall be given to the escape doors for their automatic opening.
