Electrical installation for hotels and accommodation
Complete Electrical Construction for Tourist Sites:
- Electrical work on lighting fixtures according to interior design, switches, sockets, electrical panels, panic buttons, fire detectors, etc.
- Electrical wiring work for lighting, electrical outlets, HVAC and plumbing equipment, power lines for electrical switchbaords, fire alarm and notification lines, etc.
- Fabrication of electrical switchboards for hotels – main distribution panels, distribution panels, panels for hotel rooms, restaurant and kitchen, SPA, etc.
- Repair works.
Electrical installations are the main source of power for hotel systems – lighting, sockets, power and process consumers, etc. They “bring to life” the processes which create comfort for guests as well as a healthy and efficient working environment for employees. Some of the types of electrical systems we offer:
- Constructing the electrical systems for hotel rooms and common guest areas according to the design – lighting, switches, outlets, telephone outlets, fire detectors, etc.
- Fabrication, supply, installation and connection of the hotel electrical switchboards – central electrical switchboard, floor panels, terminal electrical panels in the hotel rooms, bars, restaurant, kitchen, reception, etc.
- Construction of the electrical equipment of the service and technical rooms – lighting, sockets, power supply of power consumers in the staff rooms, kitchen equipment, spa, etc.
- Construction of backup power supply with diesel generator and UPSs to the entire hotel or separately – to part of the consumers.
- Building emergency systems for the safety of guests and staff – fire alarm and emergency notification
In addition to our electrical installation proposal, we offer adjacent services through our trusted subcontractors:
- Construction of own transformer substation and site networks 1kV and 20kV.
- Supply, adjustment and installation of equipment for computer networks and internet, telephone, television and satellite systems.
- Video surveillance.
- BMS systems for intelligent heating and ventilation control to reduce energy costs.
- Construction of smart lighting systems for maximum employee comfort and maximum lighting energy efficiency.
Why choose us:
Over three decades of electrical installation experience, our knowledge of electrical installation work in investment projects has been enriched by a wide variety of technical case studies. We urge you to take advantage of our invaluable experience for your investment.
Having a design team for so long contributes to a high level of competence in electrical installation due to excellent knowledge of current standards and regulations.
It is important to us to provide the client with a well-crafted and functional electrical installation for many years to come.
Some solutions for electrical installations for hotels and accommodation that we offer:
A variety of electrical installations with specific applications are built to ensure the appropriate functioning of hotel complexes by creating efficient and healthy working conditions. Each installation is an important part of a complex network and contributes to the operation of the site. In addition to optimal and economically viable solutions for each of the electrical installations, the latter must meet modern standards and requirements relating primarily to personnel safety, accident and fire prevention, rapid depreciation of electrical installations and equipment, and protection of sensitive electronic equipment. The technical solutions are provided in the design section of the electrical part. Some of our experience in electrical installations for for hotel complexes are:
Complete electrical equipment of hotel rooms
The electrical fittings of hotel rooms need to match their final interior design. Every single switch, socket, light fitting, low-current socket or direct electrical outlet for another consumer – such as a hairdryer or wall-mounted TV, for example – needs to be coordinated exactly with the design so that it does not end up in an unsuitable location. Inconsistencies lead not only to redoing already installed devices, but also to new wiring for them.
Interior lighting
The hotel’s lighting installation in guest areas is closely linked to the interior design. Each fixture, each light bulb or strip in the design project must be led to the appropriate electrical cable, and subsequently the lighting installation. This usually necessitates significant relocations of the lighting fixtures according to the technical design proposal, therefore it is advisable to prepare a separate detailed design for such areas in the Electrical part section.
Power installations
Every hotel has a significant number of power equipment – such as chillers, indoor convectors, ventilation systems, kitchen appliances, bar appliances, spa appliances, etc. Each of these must be supplied with electricity by a suitable electrical cable from the electrical switchboard. The technical solutions are given in the project under the Electrical section. The necessary cable grills, installation conduits and cable ducts shall be constructed and the corresponding electrical cables shall be run through them.
Backup power supply
It provides, if necessary, redundancy for the entire hotel site including the most necessary consumers – mainly the lighting and TVs in the common areas, reception, etc. The solution is executed through the supply and installation of a diesel generator, the parameters and location of which are determined by the design engineer of the electrical part. The diesel generator can also be combined with a UPS for complete uninterruptibility.
Fire alarm and emergency notification
The safety of guests and staff in the event of a fire is ensured by two separate systems – early fire detection and public address. Fire detectors and loudspeakers are installed in separate rooms for emergency notification. Their number and parameters shall be determined by the engineer in accordance with the current norms and standards. They shall be wired with specialised cables with a high degree of fire resistance.
Low-current installations
For modern hotels, a wide variety of systems and devices are available for mandatory low-current installations such as telephone, television and internet. These can largely vary in in price according to the parameters that are desired by the investor. The technical project outlines a basic solution, which serves as a foundation for the tenders made by specialized suppliers. Prior to installation, the investor needs to select the most suitable proposal in terms of configuration and price.
Special installations
In larger or luxury hotel complexes, a number of additional types of installations can be built, going beyond those required by the technical regulations and the regulation for the categorization of accommodation facilities. These are not provided for in the technical design of the electrical part, but are developed afterwards by specialist suppliers for the respective systems. These are BMS-system for energy efficient management of HVAC equipment, video surveillance, access control, etc.
In-house substations for hotel complexes
Larger hotels are provided with in-house substation, sometimes built into the building itself. Its type, parameters and location are determined in the electrical design. It consists of a 20kV switchgear to which the external 20kV supply cables are connected, a power transformer, and a low-voltage electrical panel (LVP). If the transformer substation is built into the building, this should be included in the conceptual design as there are specific fire requirements for it.
